Frequently asked questions

1. What do you want to get tattooed?

That is the first question, and you have to answer it yourself.
The most important thing is to have a very clear IDEA. From this point we will create a unique and personal design, that will be the foundation for your tattoo.

2. Design process

Once you have a very clear and defined idea about what you want to get tattooed, we will talk about it and see which is the best way to put it on your skin.

To be open to suggestions and modifications is a must, because many times we will have to adapt to a specific style or part of the body. Sometimes there are pictures or images that will work on paper, but not as a Tattoo.

We will talk about the different possibilities and we will find the best way to make a good tattoo out of your original idea.

Usually I show the design to my costumers just a few days in advance of the date of the tattoo.
Many times we will need to adapt some parts of the design (sometimes the whole thing) drawing directly on the skin (freehand).

To start the design process and book an appointment, a deposit is required.

3. «Can you copy this tattoo I found on the net?»

NO. I never copy tattoos, nor done by me nor by other artists.
When you look for information or pictures as references for your tattoo, it´s ok when you look for other tattoos, but I will never copy a tattoo already done.

A tattoo should be a “one of a kind” piece, and apart from being boring, copying another artist´s tattoo work is a complete lack of respect not only for that tattoo Artist that created the original piece, but also for that costumer that wanted a unique tattoo. Both of them did a communication, design and execution process, and this is what we will do for your tattoo.

4. Booking an appointment

You can book an appointment through different methods: contact form; by phone +34 653 849 606; by email rafagarabal@sicknursetattoo.com or contacting me through Facebook or Instagram.

To book the appointment a deposit is required, and it will be subtracted from the final price of the tattoo.

You can change the date or cancel your appointment without any problem, but at least 48 hours in advance. If not done that way, you will loose the money from your deposit.

5. «Does it hurt?»

The short answer is yes. But of course it´s a pain that everyone can handle. It will vary from one part of the body to another, and also depending on each person´s sensitivity to pain.
